"According to the UNEP, the extraction and processing of materials, fuels, and food make up about 50 percent of total global greenhouse gas emissions and more than 90 percent of biodiversity loss and water stress" explains Frans-Willem de Kloet, CEO at Ecochain.

Ecochain's mission is clear: empowering companies to make an ongoing sustainable impact on our planet. With their LCA software, they provide valuable insights into the environmental implications of products for producers in industries such as packaging, building, clothing, food and beverage, and consumer electronics. What sets Ecochain apart is their user-friendly product footprint tools and auxiliary services, making LCAs accessible and actionable for businesses.

The climate software firm, has recently secured EUR 3 Mln in a round led by Phase2.earth and supported by Volta Ventures.

With this funding, Ecochain plans to expand its team and strengthen its technology and marketing departments.
